Robert Beaman

Robert Beaman began his business career in the Convenience – Petroleum industry while attending East Carolina University and working in a C- store. From that humble start Mr. Beaman rose to be the Executive Vice President, COO of the 650 store Fast Fare chain, an innovator in marketing and human resources for the industry.
Later while serving as President and CEO Stallings Oil / Zip Mart, Robert developed Total Quality Management techniques that drove gasoline sales into the top quartile of industry performance and led to major reductions in employee turnover utilizing a focus on teamwork and team building.
In 2001, Mr. Beaman co-founded Share and Compare, a company providing CEO peer groups and financial benchmarking for multiple industries. Robert has served as a National Association of Convenience Stores board member, Rocky Mount Chamber of Commerce President and as a founding board member of one of the country’s most successful charter schools. Robert served as Associate Pastor of Englewood Baptist Church during a transitional leadership period and provided leadership development for The Chamber in their Leadership Rocky Mount Program.
Mr. Beaman established East Carolina C12 Group in 2006,and give God credit for what has become the largest C12 Group franchise in the country representing sixty companies with 100 total members. C12 Group is the nation’s largest Christian CEO roundtable organization with more than 1000 members representing 850 companies nationally.
He lives in Rocky Mount NC, is married to his high school sweet heart Janet, and they have two daughters and five grandchildren.
