Emanuel House

Emanuel House, located in Quisqueya, Dominican Republic, weekly ministers to over 100 needy children through their feeding, educational, and biblical training programs. Started in 2000, by Mirqueya Guzman, Emanuel House purposes to change the lives of the ultra poor through the love of Jesus Christ. Mirqueya, out of her own pocket, began an afterschool program targeting the neediest children in Quisqueya. She offered them what little she could; a hot meal, and educational instruction. After laboring for years, her work came to the attention of SCORE International. Her ministry has grown into a program that many children rely on everyday.
