Mentoring Coaches Clinics

Our Mission:
To mentor and equip coaches to understand and live up to their role as spiritual leaders as they coach athletes of all sports.

The clinics are designed to help coaches use the platform they have been given to better instruct, motivate and connect with their athletes, as well as encourage coaches to be much more intentional at teaching biblical life lessons found in sports. Billy Graham once said, “A coach will impact more young people in one year than an average person does in a lifetime.” SCORE International wants to encourage coaches to IMPACT A LIFE, not just a game.

Speakers and Mentors:

Ron Bishop
Founder of SCORE International. As head coach for the men’s basketball team at Tennessee Temple University, he led the Crusaders to 4 National Championships. In 1984, he left coaching to begin Score International, which is a sports mission ministry that uses sports as a platform to share the Gospel.

John Zeller
Current Executive Director for SCORE International. John is the Chaplain for the St. Leo University baseball and basketball teams as well as the Tampa Yankees. John coached at the college level at The Master’s College in California and Tennessee Temple University.

Keith Madison
National Baseball Director for SCORE International. Keith was the Head Baseball Coach at the University of Kentucky for 25 years. He is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame as well as the University of Kentucky Hall of fame.

Don Gordon
Former major league pitcher. Don Gordon pitched in big leagues with the Toronto Blue Jays and the Cleveland Indians. Don has also served as Chaplain for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Don spends his time discipling men and speaking to couples about Biblical Marriage.

David Conrady
National Basketball Director for SCORE International. David has over 23 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level. David has the distinction of coaching in the National Tournament at every level he coached.
