Ron & Pat Bishop
Founders
Ron was born in 1945 in Macon, Georgia. He attended Blacksburg High in South Carolina. Once he graduated from Blacksburg, he made his way to Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga. While at Temple, Ron earned his undergrad degree in 1967 and a Masters of Divinity in 1971. He also holds Honorary Doctorate degrees from Oklahoma Baptist Seminary and Tennessee Temple University.
Ron was a pastor for three years before coming back to Temple as the men’s head basketball coach. He served at Temple for ten years as head coach, with a career record of 279-88.
Ron collected many honors from his years at Temple, including 4 national championships, NCCAA National Coach of the Year in 1979 and 1982, and NACA National Coach of the Year in 1983.
Ron has also been inducted into four Hall of Fames: Chattanooga Sports, National Christian College Athletic Association, Blacksburg High School, and Tennessee Temple University.
In 1985 Ron resigned from Temple to start a ministry that God had given him the vision for. SCORE International was born in December of 1984. For many years, serving as President, Ron along with his wife, Pat, ran the ministry all by themselves. Over the years, God blessed the ministry of SCORE as missionaries and representatives started coming on board.
Under Ron’s leadership, SCORE International built a base in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. In the Dominican Republic, SCORE has a Missions Training Center, baseball complex, camp, dental/medical clinic, home for boys, daycare center, a number of church plants, and apartments for missionaries. In Costa Rica, SCORE has a camp, Missions Training Center, church plant, and apartments. Together, there are over $3 million in assets and no debt.
On February 10, 2011, Ron installed John Zeller, his chosen successor, as the Executive Director. Ron serves as the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Through the ministry of SCORE Ron is able to speak to thousands of teens ever year. He also is in high demand as a speaker for mission conferences, revivals, school chapels, and teen camps. Along with these opportunities, Ron also speaks in NBA chapels for players.
Ron and Pat have two daughters, Robyn and Rhonda, who are happily married. They also have five precious grandchildren.Contact Information:

Elisa Adams
Financial Secretary
Elisa was raised in Hixson, Tennessee and was saved at the age of five. In May of 2003, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration: Office Administration from Tennessee Temple University. She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank, Tennessee where she is actively involved.
In the summer of 2006, Elisa went on her first SCORE mission’s trip to the Dominican Republic. The trip opened her eyes to a whole new world and the need for people to go and share the gospel whether here or overseas. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee before coming to SCORE International. She was looking for the opportunity to change jobs when the position for Financial Secretary came open in November of 2007. This job was the answer to her prayers and now gets to help others experience what she felt on her first trip!

Trey Bailey
VP of Ministries
Trey and Terri both grew up in Huntington, West Virginia. Trey has an undergrad degree from Marshall University and earned his masters’ degree at Temple Baptist Seminary in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Terri has an undergrad degree from West Virginia State University in Charleston, West Virginia, and a graduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Their sending church is Lewis Memorial Baptist Church of Huntington, where Dr. David Lemming is the senior pastor. They have two sons, Evan and Carson.
Trey and Terri have been missionaries with SCORE since March 2001. After both being exposed to missions during their teenage years, they went on short-term trips with SCORE while in college. During those trips, God impressed upon their hearts the need for more Christians to take a stand and do more for Him in the field of missions. Trey and Terri have an intense burden to expose more people to this need for missions. Their vision is specifically to expose youth to the foreign mission field and let God impact their hearts and lives to become more involved.
Trey currently serves as the Vice President of Ministries. He works in the home office of SCORE where he helps groups and leaders to plan and organize their trips. The Baileys also travel to many conferences and seminars across the USA to represent SCORE.

David Conrady
National Basketball Director
David joined the SCORE staff after spending six years at the University of
Tennessee at Chattanooga working for four years as the Associate Head
Basketball Coach for the Mocs.During his time at UTC, the program won three Southern Conference Divisional
Championships, two Southern Conference Tournament Championships, and
played twice in the NCAA Tournament.David has been coaching at the collegiate level for more than twenty years. He is
a graduate of Furman University where he was a point guard and three year captain of the
Paladins.David is joined in ministry by his wife Becky, a graduate of Mars Hill College.
Becky has spoken to women’s groups and led Bible studies throughout the southeast.David and Becky have ministered to players, coaches, and coaches wives on
many different levels in the United States and Internationally. They have
been on mission trips to Brazil, Chile, and Peru. They recently spent time
in the Dominican Republic doing clinics and serving at local
orphanages.“Becky and I are so excited to be involved with SCORE and the life
changing message they share. We look forward to the chance to introduce
young athletes and coaches to the blessings of short term mission trips,” said David.

Kelley Ferger
Communications Director
Kelley joined the SCORE International team in May of 2011. She is responsible for all printed promotional material as well our website design and administration. She is a graduate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a BFA in Graphic Design. Kelley has worked for Applause Toys, California Community Foundation, National Environmental Council, and has worked as a freelance designer for many years.
Kelley and her husband have been very active in their home church. Kelley has served in Children’s Ministries and most recently Women’s Ministries. Over the past three years, she has started a Women’s Ministries at her church and led Bible Studies.
A cancer survivor for 11 years, she has a heart for those suffering with cancer and sees the need to share the Gospel with those who are suffering.
Kelley has been married to Bo Ferger for over 20 years and has two grown children.

David Gaither
Chief Operations and Financial Officer
David has twenty four years of experience in accounting, finance and operations with seventeen of those years having been spent working with non-profit entities in the healthcare field. The last ten years, David has served in management roles of ministry related organizations.
He is a graduate of the University of Georgia, has an M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is a C.P.A.

Yvonne Gothard
Executive Secretary
Yvonne met her husband, Mike, in high school. They were married April 4, 1981. They have a son, BJ, a daughter, April who is married to Lee, and a wonderful grandson, Tripp.
Because of a move, Yvonne and Mike changed churches and became members of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank, TN in March of 1996. They continue to be faithful members and love being involved in their church where they teach Sunday School and sing in the choir.
After joining Calvary, Yvonne and Mike began attending Ron’s Sunday School class. Ron and Pat had just moved the ministry out of their home into an office. Pat asked Yvonne to pray about becoming Ron’s secretary part-time at the same time Yvonne had also been praying about a part-time job. God answered both prayers. Yvonne feels so blessed to be able to help facilitate the work of this ministry and loves hearing the reports of groups who have returned from the field.Contact Information:

Jill Mallett
Sports Secretary
Jill was born in New York and raised in Fort Myers, Florida. She has three beautiful daughters: Brooke, Blaire, and Blake. She is also the proud grandmother of 3 year old Brynn. In August 2010, Jill married the love of her life, Matt. Together, they vowed to spend their lives in continued service to the Lord. At an early age, Jill came to Christ. Having a strong desire and urging to follow Him, she has worked in the ministry for many years. The past 13 years were spent serving Christ as an administrator at a Christian school in Cape Coral, Florida. She also has been a part of various ministries in her church and community. During a vacation to Tennessee, Jill and Matt fell in love with the Chattanooga area and made a decision to relocate there in August of 2011. Out of work and not sure what she wanted to do, she stumbled upon a SCORE International sign on a building and remembered a mission trip she went on with her daughter in 2001 with SCORE. She decided that she was going to just check it out. But the Lord had other plans and she came on staff in September 2011 just one month after moving to Chattanooga. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:10-12.

Tim Swaney
VP of Public Relations
Tim and Rhonda Swaney have been married since 10/3/98 and have three children Lex (2/2/00), Chloe (7/23/02) and Slade (9/23/07). Tim’s work history is in sales and marketing and in 2003 the Lord opened the door to serve with SCORE on a full-time basis. Tim now serves as the Vice President of Public Relations.
Tim and Rhonda are members of Woodland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN and have been there since 2000. They enjoy working with young people and athletes and seeing the changes God makes in their lives after experiencing a trip with SCORE.

John & Katie Zeller
Executive Director
John has served on the Board of Directors of SCORE International for over 20 years under the direction of its founder, Ron Bishop. In February of 2011, John became the Executive Director for SCORE International and now travels all over the USA speaking at churches, sporting events, camps, and conferences. John also travels overseas on short term mission trips.
John served as the Minister through Recreation Outreach at Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida from 1997 to 2007. Before that he served as the Athletic Director of Temple Heights Christian School, Northside Christian Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina, and The Master’s College in Newhall, California, where he also served as the Head Baseball Coach.
John is currently the chaplain for the Tampa Yankees and ST Leo University Baseball Team. He has impacted the lives of many athletes through sports outreach, but even with his accomplishments and commitments, he asserts his family as his top priority. John resides in Florida with his wife Katie. He has two sons, Chad and Chip.Coaching Experience:
