When God gave me the vision to start SCORE International 28 years ago, I couldn’t imagine what He would do! I never saw 200 missionaries and employees, camps, orphanages, day care centers, after school programs, medical clinics, hotels, feeding programs, sports facilities, church plants, bi-lingual study programs and a vast discipleship ministry.

I would have never imagined that SCORE would take more than 75,000 people on short-term mission trips, share the Gospel with over 1 million people and record over 100,000 professions of faith.

I never could have imagined how SCORE would be able to have facilities in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. The ability to buy buses, land, and expand into other countries.

I never saw how so many Dominican, Costa Rican and Panamanian families would become blessings to SCORE as they minister to people that travel on our short-term mission trips.

Nor did I see the day that God would ask me to turn it all over to a successor that would continue to carry on the mission of SCORE.

“O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.” -Psalms 40:5
